This exclusive informative talk cum hands-on workshop will allow you to have a better understanding of your photographic equipment. The Master will share with you the finer point of harnessing the full impact of the equipment i.e. Camera and lenses for different shooting environment.
The skill and technique of taking good photograph will be demonstrated by the Master in FIVE PARTS:
Part 1 – a) Knowledge of camera functions,
b) Proper usage of Lenses e.g. Wide Angle to Zoom Lens
c) ISO (What is ISO and it’s usage)
d) SHUTTER-SPEED (How it relate with ISO and APERTURE)
e) APERTURE (FStop) e.g. Which FStop to use when taking Portraits and Scenery etc.
Part 2 – a) LIGHTING (The 3 major types of lighting)
b) COMPOSITION, (Be Creative, Keep Simple etc.)
c) QUALITY, Good in Colour, Colour Harmony etc)
d) SHARP IN FOCUS (The 3 situations)
e) NO DISTRACTION
Part 3 – a) SOFTWARE for Cropping, Enhancing, Photo Repair, Vignette, Resizing, Sharpening, Reducing Noise, Framing, Special effect etc.
Part 4 – The secrets of taking good photographs a) For Hobby; b) For Career; For Competition such as applying the rules practiced by Photographic Professionals Worldwide
Part 5 – Print Clinic – enable the learner to better understand how much he or she have acquired the knowledge to take good photograph. Master will show some of his works and will also show how he enhance the picture to be a piece of art.
The workshop is 3 hours from 3pm to 6pm i.e. Theory 2 hours and 1 hour presentation.
All participants will be given a limited edition autographed book entitled “A HOUSEHOLD
GUIDE TO TAKING GOOD PICTURES” authored by Master Joseph K.S.Tan
