Emotional Intelligence is the ability to perceive emotional information and use it effectively to manage relationships and cope with challenges. The term is misused and abused, what does it actually cover? Does it matter more than cognitive intelligence? How does it play out at home and in the workplace? Is there a demonstrated link with personal and professional achievements?
High IQ individuals are often described as having a very low Emotional Intelligence: it is obviously a stereotype! Nonetheless, we often hear MENSAns mention difficulties to fit in or to understand themselves and others. So what about MENSAns and their EQ?
Come and join this informative and interactive workshop to understand Emotional Intelligence in depth, from psychology & management research findings to daily and practical examples. You will also learn how it is assessed and developed, have the opportunity to reflect about yourself, share experiences and enjoy joyful discussions with fellow MENSAns!
