No doubt, there are still many things we need to do on the website, but if you can see this page/post, then it means that we’re off to a good start. Hopefully by Monday or Tuesday next week, everyone will be seeing this new site instead of the old one.

I guess this is where we start establishing Mensa Singapore’s new website. We are switching hosting providers and using a brand new system based on WordPress and FluxBB. There are still some bugs to be ironed out (most notably, for new users and those who change their passwords), you may need to login more than once to get your logins on both the forum and main website properly recognised. Clearing your browser cookies does help. Also, hopefully, we can add attachments, private messages and additional profile information in the forums at a later stage. And of course we have a whole lot of documents, pages and materials to move from the old site to the new. That’s going to be a bit of a nightmare I think.

But for now, let’s at least enjoy our first few steps towards a new online presence for Mensa Singapore.
