Reason for setting up E-SIG (Entrepreneur Special Interest Group) is to invite the brightest to join us in the quest for ultimate value creation.

Our Objectives

1. To provide an environment for the brightest people in Mensa to meet

Who Can Join?

Whether you are 8 years old or 80 years old, all are welcome to join in our activities.

Our activities are open to friends and family members of Mensa members.

Each activity is FREE for Mensa’s members and first accompanying guest. S$5 per person for each subsequent guest.

(Reason for charging is because the event venue is paid by Mensa Singapore for its members)

Monthly Event Agenda

1. Forming Mastermind Group – Networking, Team Building, Sharing

2. Study The Path To Success – Video + Discussion

3. Value Creation – Brainstorming + 90 sec Elevator Speech

1 – Forming Mastermind Group

In each session, participant will be grouped into group of 5-6. New group will be formed every month so that every participant has the chance to meeting different people.

Every team members in the group will have to share something about themselves and something new they have learned during the month. It can be new knowledge, new experience, new business ideas, etc.

The objective is to broaden all our experience through sharing and networking. Success cannot be achieved by one person. Great ideas need many people to realize (scientists, engineers, marketers, leaders, etc.).

2 - Study The Path To Success

Worldwide there are a thousand billionaires worth trillions and 9 million multi-millionaires. It will be interesting to study how the rich make their fortune, understand the millionaire mindset, and how we learn from them and replicate their success.

In each session, a video will be shown to review four World’s Richest People on how they make their fortune and how they like to spend it.

Participants will form groups to discuss on what they have learned from the film, what the success attributes are, and what business ideas that help the millionaires make millions.

At the end of the discussion, each group will present their leanings and what businesses they can set up to duplicate the millionaire success.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops for the event so that they can use PowerPoint for their presentations.

3 – Value Creation

In each session, groups that were formed will be thrown with new challenges to solve. E.g. how to reduce Singapore temperature to below 23 degree C and charge the Government for it.

Team members will brainstorm, conceptualize feasible approach, develop brief business proposition, give a 90 sec elevator speech to “Investors”.

End of the session. All participants will vote which team has the

· The best delivery

The objective is to stretch our creativity and break all limitation. It will train us to think out of the box and make the impossible possible. It will train us to present our business proposition with clarity and complete. A brilliant idea without good delivery will not be able to attract investment.
