Wondering where to go for lunch on Sunday? Wanna catch up with fellow Mensans? We would like to invite you to Mensa’s FIRST Quarterly Lunch, intended to welcome new members to the society and to allow them to mingle with existing members.
The details are as follows:
Date: Sunday, 24 May 2009
Time: 1pm
Place: NYDC cafe and restaurant, Bugic Junction. (#02-47/48 Bugis Junction, 200 Victoria Street, Singapore 188021)
Cost: $10/member & $15/non-members
Menu:
Starter
Cream of Mushroom Soup
Drink choice of Pepsi/7UP/Iced Tea
Main Course
Choice of Spaghetti Bolognaise traditional beef bolognaise sauce on top of a bed of spaghetti
or
Mushroom Madness Pizza lots of fresh mushrooms with garlic sauce and mozzarella. Named “Best Pizza in Singapore” by The Straits Times
or
Baked Prawns in Garlic Cream Sauce prawns in rich garlic cream sauce and button mushrooms topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Choose between rice or pasta.
Dessert
Ally’s New York Cheesecake Classic baked cheesecake, made with our famous recipe!
Hot Beverage

What’s with the registration page? Closing date is 20th May 2009 and it’s obviously only the 19th today, but it’s been closed prematurely! Is there a problem with the coding or is it my browser?

No worries, lioninvestor. Anyway, I’ve registered for 1 accompanying guest, but my confirmation states only 1 person invited. Also, available slots have decreased by only 1, is this correct?

Yes, it’s correct.
The quota of 15 is more to cater for the subsidy given to members. Non-members pay the full rate so it is not really a problem.
